FAQs
Please find below Jayne's recent correspondence. If you have a question for Jayne, please send it to customerservices@groboxgardens.co.uk.
Q: I bought a hanging basket GroBox recently and would be grateful if you would advise if it needs to be planted with or without the lid. I have taken the plastic off the outside, but was not sure about the lid of the box.
A: Yes just open and fold the lid underneath
Q: Hello again Jayne
Latest news on the GroBoxes. We now have about 20 stems with buds, of which six have opened to reveal bright red gladioli and they are up to my shoulder! We've never had 'gladdies' before and they look amazing.
I had expected them to be about a foot high - how wrong was that! I suppose it would be possible to replant them further back when they have all finished flowering, whenever that will be. The oxalis leaves are still there and in among there are some small red flowers which do not appear to have much in the way of leaves, just flowers, and quite delicate.
A: Yes just dig up and transplant after flowering. Wonderful to hear from you. I am glad that the growth is good, a little too good due to the abundance of rain this season, it has put our flower head’s a little wet. The flowers will come but a little later than desired, the clover shaped flower is the love plant, oxalis. The ornamental leave, with pink flowers, it will flower profusely and look fantastic each year as will all the plants.
